Events and Marketing Intern 2019
OFFSITE is an experiential events agency specializing in cocktails, spirits, and bartender education. Our offices are located in Somerville, MA, but we produce events all across North America. As our Event Intern, you will assist in the planning and logistics of events in Boston and across the continent. Our company is small, so everyone on the team wears multiple hats and helps with many parts of our events. This internship will provide a in-depth look into what it’s like to plan both corporate and experiential marketing events. This internship will also include occasional training and education on the cocktail and spirits world, for context of course!
At the end of this internship you will have:
Experience taking an event from concept through to completion.
A portfolio of events of very different types and sizes that you have worked on.
Expect to work on:
The Boston Oyster Bash.
The International Cocktail Karaoke Championship in Mexico.
The lead-up to our annual conference, Thirst Boston.
Multiple private and charity events in and around Boston.
Creative brainstorming for event flow and decor
Researching vendors, venues, and logistical partners.
Writing runs of show, load lists, and par sheets.
Assisting with event data management.
